Amendment #1 related to removing laws prohibiting ineligble aliens (persons prohibited from holding dual citizenship) from ownership, inheritance, disposition, and possession of real property.
#2 - the marriage amendment is self explanatory.
#3 - Authorizes the Legislature, to prohibit consideration of changes or improvements to residential property which increase resistance to wind damage and installation of renewable energy source devices as factors in assessing the property’s value for ad valorem taxation purposes. (No additional tax asessments due to improving the hurricane resistance or energy efficiency of your home).
#4 - Requires Legislature to provide a property tax exemption for real property encumbered by perpetual conservation easements or other perpetual conservation protections.
#6 - basically states that a fishing marina can not be taxed based on the fact that the land could be a 10 story hotel at it's highest and best use. It will be taxed for what it is - a marina.
#8 - allows local counties and cities to set up a local tax to fund local community colleges.
