Memorial Day

Memorial Day is coming! As always, be sure to thank those who fight or have fought for freedom's sake everywhere!! God bless America and God bless our toops and veteran's. Thank you for all you've done and continue to do!!

My trip was "interesting" to say the least. I find it discouraging that there is so much finger pointing at the cities and counties because the state's budget is in such a mess. I don't see any state officials offering to take a pay cut, but rather cutting services to the most weak, vulnerable and those without a voice in our society - the disabled. While I believe everyone can cut back and trim off a lot of waste, I also believe the state can as well, but not to the detriment of the weakest ones. Especially not when I see us wasting dollars voting over things such as pregnant pigs.
